Yesterday, once again, The Celebrity was desperately trying to contact somebody... came out from his cabin, asked everybody, including me, to move out...since he wanted to talk, in person- again...it was personal.
After some time he called me in. 'I want to contact this man, it's personal, but I am getting wrong no. You try from your mobile.' I did...Yes, it was a wrong no. His son came. He was also asked, by the celebrity, to try from his mobile. The son tried that no. couple of time from his mobile- 'the lady, who kept receiving this wrong no several time, is shouting at top of her voice, threatening to take legal action'...Son informed.
She was right. Celebrity, refused to buzz. ' You've to get this man for me, I want to talk to him, I do not know, how you will get him, but you have to do this', adamant he was.
Then he warned me, ' whoever you are going to ask for his no. don't take my name, don't take your name, don't take company's name...just manage the no, I want to talk to him, in person '. The celebrity has a peculiar habit of involving several illiterate people, for a specialized job, at the same time... without consulting anybody. The result is, obviously a mess.
But then, a PRO has to manage. I, being his PRO had to manage... I did not know the person, whom he wanted to talk, so desperately.
Now again PR- you have to do it, you should do it, if you are into PR job...How?
Pathetic, tough situations one can handle- handling crazy situation, is crazy. But, then you are into PR job- I did the job.
Without knowing about the Person, with whom The Celebrity wanted to talk... after 20 minutes I got the man on his desk... and put the celebrity on line.
'How do you manage, you didn't know the man, I never told you', the celeb. asked?''
You have to move on- You are into PR business.
